Welcome To Our Africa

Real-Life Africans

You were born and raised in Africa, the second-largest continent on the planet. Bare feet, sunshine, nature, space, optimism, community...

Lots of these things you take for granted and don't even know are privileges that many people elsewhere don't get to enjoy. Then you start to travel the world and learn very quickly that lots of cultures unwittingly look down on Africa and are shocked when you say your well-spoken English is from Africa or that there is more than one type (ethnicity) of person who is born and raised there.

They find it hard to believe this madness you seem to speak of, and so, what better way to respond, than by simply showing them what your diverse Africa really looks like.

Welcome, to African Astronauts. A multimedia hub consisting of blogs, podcasts and videos, to help tell real stories from Africans across the globe.
